Regulation precision and output voltage ripple

The output voltage of the board and the VDD pin voltage (rectified auxiliary output) have

been measured in different line and load conditions. The results are given in Table 5. The

output voltage practically is not affected by the line condition.

The VDD voltage increases with the load on the regulated output; in order to avoid it

exceeding its operating range an external clamp has been used (Dz, Rz).

The ripple at the switching frequency superimposed at the output voltage has also been

measured and the results are reported in Table 6.
