It is possible not to implement this protection, if it is not necessary. This is done by excluding

diode D2 and resistor R14, thereby also reducing the number of components.

A pre-compliant test in accordance with European standard EN55022 (Class B) is also

performed. Results are displayed in Figure 26 and Figure 27:
