The counter is increased if all the FI fields, number of NS subframes, and the CRC are correct. The confirm message of a CMD_ReadDBRequest returns the current value of the counter without changing it. The CMD_WriteDBRequest resets the value of the counter (0) and the confirm message returns the reset value (0). 6.5.12 000Bh (TIC selector and repeater setting) This object stores the ST7570 repeater settings and the inter-character timeout (TIC) value. Both parameters are available in MAC mode, whereas in PHY mode only the inter-character timeout selector bit (b7) is active and all the other bits must be set at 0, otherwise an ERR_ILLEGAL_DATA_COMMAND error message is returned.
