The trim resistor should be positioned close to the module. If not using the trim feature, leave the TRIM pin open. Trimming up by more than 10% of the nominal output may damage the converter or trig the OVP protection. Trimming down more than 20% can cause the converter to regulate improperly. Trim down and trim up circuits and the corresponding configuration are shown in Figure 10 to Figure 14.
