In 16-bit Level 2 ATM mode, the first word of the cell structure is present on the RDAT[15:0] bus when RSOC is high. RSOC is tri-stated when RENB is sampled high. In 8-bit Level 3 ATM mode, the first byte of the cell structure is present on the RDAT[7:0] bus when RSOC is high. RDAT[15:8] are invalid and must be ignored. RSOC is updated on the rising edge of RFCLK. RPRTY Output P21 The UTOPIA receive parity (RPRTY) signal indicates the parity of the RDAT bus. When in 16-bit Level 2 ATM mode, the RPRTY signal indicates the parity on the RDAT[15:0] bus. RPRTY is tri-stated when RENB is sampled high. Odd or even parity selection is made in the RXCP registers. When in 8-bit Level 3 ATM mode, the RPRTY signal indicates the parity on the RDAT[7:0] bus. Odd or even parity selection is made in the RUL3 registers. RPRTY is updated on the rising edge of RFCLK. |
