TI’s customers are responsible for determining suitability of components for their purposes, as well as validating and testing their design implementation to confirm system functionality. 8.1 Application Information The TUSB564-Q1 is a linear redriver designed specifically to compensation for intersymbol interference (ISI) jitter caused by signal attenuation through a passive medium like PCB traces and cables. Because the TUSB564-Q1 has four independent DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, one upstream facing USB 3.1 Gen 1 input, and two downstream facing USB 3.1 Gen 1 inputs, the TUSB564-Q1 can be optimized to correct ISI on all those seven inputs through 16 different equalization choices.
