If the adjusted relative antenna positions

are used, no pitch or roll offset angles

are needed.

The nine numbers listed in Adjusted Relative Antenna Positions (meters) section

list the BRF vectors of antennas 1-2, 1-3, and 1-4, respectively. Three of the

parameters are exactly 0.0, since only six independent parameters are needed to

describe a platform with three vectors.

It is very likely that pitch and roll offset angles will be induced. Refer to Appendix B.

13. Press any key to return to the Program Options menu.

14. Press <Esc> several times to exit CALI3DF.

15. Start PPLOT by typing pplot <ENTER> at the DOS prompt. The plotfile is

useful to judge whether the ambiguities have been fixed properly.

16. The main menu opens. Select the file plotbrf and press <ENTER>.

PPLOT plots the six non-zero parameters of the BRF vectors given in file

PLOTBRF (Figure 4.14). A good solution should have a small variation on

all six parameters, that is, the peak-to-peak error should be no more than two

centimeter on the screen. The largest variation is usually in the z-

components of the BRF vectors.
