4.1

Operating Modes

The operation mode of the TLE8457 is controlled with the EN and TxD input pins (see Figure 3 and Table 2).

The TLE8457 has 3 major operation modes:

•Normal Operation Mode

•Standby Mode

•Sleep Mode

Additionally the TLE8457 has an Init Mode that is automatically entered when powering up, detecting wake-

up events or in case of malfunctions.

RxD:

logical „high“ after Power-up or Reset

NRST will stay „low“ during LDO failures and for the Reset time
