130 / 144 page ![]() 130/144 STV3550 Electrical Characteristics 9 Electrical Characteristics The STV3550 contains circuitry used to protect inputs against damage due to high static voltage or electric fields. Nevertheless, it is recommended that normal precautions be observed in order to avoid subjecting this high-impedance circuit to voltages above those quoted in the Absolute Maximum Ratings. For proper operation, it is recommended that the input voltage VIN be constrained within the range: (VSS - 0.3 V) ≤ VIN ≤ (VDD33_IO + 0.3 V) To enhance reliability of operation, it is recommended to configure unused I/Os as inputs and to connect them to an appropriate logic voltage level such as VSS or VDD. It is also recommended to connect VDDA and VDD together on applications. (Same remark for VSSA and VSS). All the voltages in the following tables are referenced to VSS. Stresses greater than those listed as “Absolute Maximum Ratings” may cause permanent damage to the device. Functional operation of the device at these conditions is not implied. Exposure to maximum rating conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability. 9.1 Absolute Maximum Ratings Note: 1 All voltages listed are referenced to ground (0 V, GND, VSS). 2 Voltage at input pins are 5 V tolerant, except for analog PIO pins. 3 Voltage at output pin configured in open-drain are 5 V tolerant. 4 Mininum guaranteed value.
