10 Application and Implementation

10.1 Application Information

The TPA3136D2/TPA3136AD2 device is designed for use in inductor free applications with limited distance wire

length) between amplifier and speakers like in TV sets, sound docks and Bluetooth speakers. The

TPA3136D2/TPA3136AD2 device can either be configured in stereo or mono mode, depending on output power

conditions. Depending on output power requirements and necessity for (speaker) load protection, the built in

PLIMIT circuit can be used to control system power, see functional description of these features.
