CC series resistors are produced using a hot moulded

carboncompositionmaterialwhichisvariedtoproduce

therequiredresistancevalue.Theleadsaremoulded

intotheresistor.Finallythesearecoatedandband

marked.

Solvent Resistance

Thebodyprotectionandmarkingareresistanttoallnormal

industrialcleaningsolventssuitableforprintedcircuits.

Marking

CCseriesresistorsarecolourcoded.Resistorswith20%tolerance

havethreebandsindicatingvalue,andresistorswith10%

tolerancehavefourbandsindicatingvalueandtolerancein

accordancewithIEC62.

*Toleranceappliestodateofmanufacture.Asinallcarboncompositionpartsvaluedriftinstorageispossible.Thisistypically±3%inoneyearand±5%in2years.
