Power Down Characteristics

The LM2202 includes a built-in power down spot killer to pre-

vent a flash on the screen upon power down. The LM2202’s

output voltage decreases as the device is being powered

down, thus preventing a flash on the screen. In some pream-

plifiers, the video output signal may go high as the device is

being powered down. This may cause a whiter-than-white

level at the output of the CRT driver, thus causing a flash on

the screen.

PC Board Layout Considerations

For

optimum

performance

and

stable

operation,

a

double-sided printed circuit board with adequate ground

plane and power supply decoupling as close to the V
