The UART commands enable an external MCU to control the BM63 module. Figure 5-1 illustrates the UART interface between the BM63 module and an external MCU. FIGURE 5-1: HOST MCU INTERFACE OVER UART The MCU can control the BM63 module over the UART interface and wake-up the module using the MFB pin, the P3_7 pin can be used for this function. Refer to the “UART_CommandSet” document for a list of functions the BM63 module supports and how to use the UI tool to configure the UART and UART Command Set tool. Note: The UART Command set Tool (SPKCom- mandSetTool v160.xx) and “UART_Com- mandSet” document are available for download from the Microchip web site at: www.microchip.com/BM63 |
