1) The state at 5V is when the shutter is not in operation.

2) When dropped to 0V, the shutter gate will open, letting the accumulated charge of the sensor be thrown

away to the shutter drain.

The charge is sent to the transfer

register as signal charge.

The charge up to this point will be thrown

away to the shutter drain.
