40 / 86 page  Register description STA350BW 40/86 Doc ID 018572 Rev 3 7.3.3 Overcurrent warning detect adjustment bypass The OCWARN input is used to indicate an overcurrent warning condition. When OCWARN is asserted (set to 0), the power control block forces an adjustment to the modulation limit (default is -3 dB) in an attempt to eliminate the overcurrent warning condition. Once the overcurrent warning volume adjustment is applied, it remains in this state until a reset occurs. The level of adjustment can be changed via the TWOCL (thermal warning/over current limit) setting which is address 0x37 of the user-defined coefficient RAM. 7.4 Configuration register D (addr 0x03) 7.4.1 High-pass filter bypass The STA350BW features an internal digital high-pass filter for the purpose of AC coupling. The purpose of this filter is to prevent DC signals from passing through an FFX amplifier. DC signals can cause speaker damage. When HPB = 0, this filter is enabled. 7.4.2 De-emphasis Table 25.
