uses a basic Colpitts crystal oscillator configuration
with MOS transconductor to provide negative
resistance.
All capacitors shown in Figure 6 are
integrated inside the MICRF218. R01 and R02 are
external pins of MICRF218.
User only needs to
connect reference oscillation crystal.
See equation (1) and (2) to calculate reference
oscillator crystal frequency for either narrow or wide
bandwidth.
Crystal Parameters
To operate the MICRF218 with minimum offset,
crystal frequencies should be specified with 10pF
loading capacitance.
