27 / 32 page  04-Oct-2005 EP-85 6 V, 330 mA Low Cost Charger 12 AC Line Surge Input line 1.2/50 µs differential surge testing (2 Ω generator output impedance) was completed on a single test unit to IEC61000-4-5. Input voltage was set at 230 VAC / 60 Hz. Output was loaded at full load with a 17 Ω resistor and operation was verified during and following each surge event. Neither failures nor output glitches were seen.
