Pin Assignment of Single-Ended Input vs Pseudodifferential Input reference voltage There is a built-in 4-V reference. If the internal reference is used, REFP is internally set to 4-V and REFM is set to 0-V. The external reference can be applied to the reference-input pins (REFP and REFM) if programmed (see Table 2). The REFM pin should connect to analog ground. REFP can be 3-V to 5-V. Install decoupling capacitors (10 µF in parallel with 0.1 µF) between REFP and REFM. Install compensation capacitors (10 µF in parallel with 0.1 µF for internal reference, 0.1 µF only for external reference) between BGAP and AGND. |
