This circuit shows how to use a single power supply.

The LM317 (+5 V Regulator) circuit can be replaced

with a separate 5 VDC power supply.

Use caution when the PTC is combined with a PLD

laser driver: if the TEC or thermistor is connected to

the laser diode, two power supplies are required and

must float independently of each other.

Short pin 9 to pin 6 when

analog input not in use.
