The µPD784938 Subseries consists of 78K/IV Series products that combine a 78K/IV Series CPU core enabling mounting large-capacity memory and a IEBusTM (Inter Equipment BusTM) controller. The 78K/IV Series consists of 16-bit single-chip microcontrollers, and comes with a high-performance CPU that has various functions including a function to access 1-Mbyte memory spaces.
