Motorized switch-disconnectors

Designed for remote operation

Motor operated switch-disconnectors by ABB are suitable for a wide range of

demanding applications that may require remote operation. For the same reason,

they have been designed to be virtually maintenance free throughout their entire

lifespan.

The motorized switch disconnectors

have a snap-on control wire

connections. Auxiliary contacts can be

snapped on to the sides of the switch.

Quick and easy installation saves time

and expenses.

These devices come equipped with a

wide range of safety features, such as

IP20protected finger proof installations.

All of the contacts are clearly visible,

which makes for clear and reliable

position indication. Also, all of our

motorized switch-disconnectors are

equipped with a handle for manual

operation in emergency situations.

The handles are of course padlockable

into the OFF position for ensured safety.

Ensuring a high performance level for you

is of the utmost importance to us. In

applications where the loaded switch

may need to be operated remotely,

adequate durability has been ensured by

testing against the IEC 60947 standard.

These devices are also equipped with

extremely resistant insulation materials,

which help reduce the risk of flash-over

between phases in even the most severe

circumstances and environments.
