Serial PROM Mode 20.7 Error Code TMP86FS49AIUG 20.7 Error Code When detecting an error, the device transmits the error code to the external controller, as shown in Table 20-14. Note: If a password error occurs, TMP86FS49AIUG does not transmit an error code. 20.8 Checksum (SUM) 20.8.1 Calculation Method The checksum (SUM) is calculated with the sum of all bytes, and the obtained result is returned as a word. The data is read for each byte unit and the calculated result is returned as a word. Example: The checksum which is transmitted by executing the flash memory write command, RAM loader command, or flash memory SUM output command is calculated in the manner, as shown above.
